(or people of any age).

Imagine that your eyes are no longer on your face but on the top of your hands. Describe, in vivid detail, what a trip to a movie theater might be like.
———————————————————————————————————————————
Choose an object near your computer. Imagine that this object can think, see, hear, and feel. Describe what it is thinking, seeing, hearing, and feeling this very moment.
———————————————————————————————————————————
Study the above photo. Give the boy a name, then imagine and describe what happened in the 15 minutes before this photo was taken and in the fifteen minutes after.
———————————————————————————————————————————
Use the following lines to begin a story of your own.
The beach was quiet that day, too quiet. It was as if the air was holding its breath, waiting for the thing that was about to happen
———————————————————————————————————————————
Describe rain--the feel of it on your skin, the scent, the taste, the look and color of the sky, then place a character walking in the rain and see where the story takes you.
———————————————————————————————————————————
Make a list where every item begins with "I know I'm having a good day when --."
———————————————————————————————————————————
Imagine that you live 100 years ago. Your home has no electricity and no running water. Describe what getting ready for school in the morning might be like.
———————————————————————————————————————————
Think of an edible noun, a sports verb, and a color adjective. Put these words together in the same sentence, then see where the story takes you.
Example: I was in the park eating pizza (edible noun) when a green (color adjective) lizard leapt (sports verb) into my lap.
